In April 2023, James Barber, Chief Executive, and Zack Walker, Executive Team Manager, were invited to attend the Design Your Future Showcase event at Scale Liverpool.
Design Your Future is a programme ran by the University of Liverpool’s Careers and Employability Team that aims to support student entrepreneurs in taking their business aspirations from ideas to reality. This showcase event was a chance for students on the programme to deliver their business pitchers to a panel of judges.
As part of the event, James was invited to speak on a panel of inspiring young business owners for an audience of aspiring student entrepreneurs, University staff and others in the community.
Alongside the pitches and panel, the University formally awarded successful recipients of the Enterprise Fund, a £50k pot to support student led businesses. James and Zack accepted Jamescape’s £2500 share of the fund on behalf of the company. Our funding will be used to help drive development of our long-term software project, Project Harker.
