Introducing our new website

Our website was well overdue a fresh lick of paint, so we thought we'd rip everything out and start from the very beginning. As a web development company, we want our website to show off everything we're capable of, and we're confident that this one does.

If you're here then you've obviously found the Blog and we'll be posting news about the company and showcasing some of the projects we're working on. Along the top you can also find quick links to Jamescape Jobs (Work for us), our jobs portal where you can find the roles we're advertising for and apply for jobs with us, and a link to our status page where you can see, at a glance, how all our services are running (fingers crossed they're all green!)

Alfie Jones, Senior Software Developer, led the bulk of the website work, designing the frontend and taking a lead on the content. As pretty as it is, the really exciting part of this site lies under the hood - we've built this site using a Headless CMS, meaning that we can quickly change parts of the site, manage blog posts and update information on-the-fly from a customisable control panel. This is the result of a bigger programme of work standardising our implementation of customised, high-performance dynamic sites and the creation of a standard package we are now able to offer.

Led by Matt Gaynor, Infrastructure Manager, this site (and the corresponding control panel) is now hosted on our blazing fast and ultra-robust Quartus server in a secure container, in the same way all new dynamic sites will be for our clients.

James Barber, Chief Executive, said of the new website, "I'm delighted we've launched our new website which showcases the quality of websites we're able to produce, and I'm very excited about our new dynamic sites offering. I'm looking forward to working with some incredible clients to produce modern sites that show off their businesses in the way they deserve!"

If you're interested in a sleek and snazzy dynamic website, just like ours, get in touch today using the button in the top-right corner or by emailing hello@jamescape.net and we'll have a chat!
