Introducting The Jamescape Crumpathon

On the 26th of August, I’ll be challenging myself to eat as many crumpets as possible within an hour, on livestream. I’ve always enjoyed a good crumpet in the morning, but it’s time to push beyond my own limits for charity.

We’re raising money for York Road Project, a charity does great work tackling homelessness in the Woking area down in Surrey. In 2021, Jamescape raised £762.50 for the York Road Project during the Jamescape Barbershop livestream: and this time we’ve set our goal to £1000.

You can either donate a lump sum via JustGiving, our pledge an amount per crumpet eaten, via our site crumpathon.com.

If you do pledge per crumpet, you’ll be sent an email after the livestream with the number of crumpets I ate, along with your pledged amount and a link to donate on JustGiving (so don’t worry Mum you’ll still be able to GiftAid). We’re encouraging people to pledge an amount per crumpet, simply because it makes things more interesting!

Any donations are greatly appreciated and if you can’t donate, please share the link around and repost us on social media.

I hope to see you all watch me struggle live on YouTube on Saturday 26/08/2023 at 14:00 BST: crumpathon.com/watch.
