Our EDI Pledge

Jamescape is committed to treating everyone equally, regardless of: age; sex; disability; ethnicity; gender identity; religion/belief; sexual orientation; marriage/civil partnership or pregnancy/maternity. We recognise the value that comes from a diverse team with differing experiences and perspectives.

Despite being a small team, we are proud to have hired disabled, LGBT+, female, and non-binary staff, which include underrepresented demographics in the technology industry (EQUALS Research Group, 2019).

Disability Confident

Disability Confident is a UK Government scheme that aims to promote good EDI practice to businesses.

We are a Disability Confident Leader (Level 3) and take care to ensure good EDI practices in all our operations. For us, the scheme has given us a chance to step back and consider how we can best care for our team, along with how we recruit staff from a wider talent pool.

We understand that technology is a fast-paced industry, and that sometimes these considerations can be overlooked. However, we encourage all businesses in our network to engage with the Disability Confident scheme to see how it can benefit your staff and organisation. If you would like any support with this, please get in touch with us via our website contact button.
