James started Jamescape in 2020, bringing on a team of software and IT professionals he'd worked with over many years to support businesses establish online presences during the pandemic. As the company has grown over time, James' role has changed to managing the operations of the growing company and managing our larger projects.

My working hours are usually 10:00 to 18:00 Liverpool time (GMT/BST), Monday to Saturday but vary week-to-week.
What I'm currently working on
I'm currently managing Jamescape's Project Harker, our SaaS solution to end homelessness with data. In my spare time
I'm currently a part-time Mathematics and Computer Science student at the University of Liverpool and teach on COMP211 Computer Networks, a second-year Computer Science module. My academic interests are in game theory and automata.
I volunteer as National Chair of the Student Scout and Guide Organisation (SSAGO).

I've been featured in University of Liverpool News for winning the grand prize at the 2022 LCR Founders Pitching event, you can read our write-up of the event in our blog post. I was also featured again for my nomination to the Entrepreneur of the Year Award at the EducateNorth Awards.
Knowledge Quarter Liverpool featured the Company and I in their new Innovation Prospectus as a Case Study for a start-up being supported by the KQ Liverpool ecosystem.
The University of Liverpool's Careers and Employability team featured me in The Entrepreneur magazine, celebrating entrepreneurial success across the University.
